Our promise
JuniorWealth helps parents make confident money decisions for their kids. That only works if you can trust what we publish. This page explains exactly how our content is produced.
Who creates our content
Content is researched, written, and edited by the JuniorWealth Team, an editorial group focused on family finance. We write for parents, in plain English, with concrete dollar examples. We are not licensed financial advisors, and our content is educational — not individualized financial, legal, or tax advice.
Sources we rely on
We verify factual claims against primary sources before publishing, including:
- Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) — consumer protections and money-education research
- Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) — deposit insurance and bank partnerships
- Internal Revenue Service (IRS) — custodial account, Roth IRA, and 529 tax rules
- Provider websites, pricing pages, and official disclosures for product details
Fact verification dates
Every article carries a facts verified date in addition to its published and updated dates. Pricing, plan tiers, and feature claims for products (for example, kids' debit cards) are re-checked against the provider's official pages on that date. If a product changes materially between verifications, we update the article and the comparison data as soon as we learn of it.
How affiliate relationships are handled
Some products we cover pay us referral commissions. Those relationships never determine what we cover, what we recommend, or how we rate products. Articles containing affiliate links carry a disclosure at the top, and all affiliate links route through our /go/ redirects so they are transparent and auditable. Read the full affiliate disclosure.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it fast. If you spot an error, email info@juniorwealth.com with a link to the page. We aim to review correction requests within 5 business days. Material corrections (anything that could change a reader's decision) are fixed in the article and reflected in the updated date.
What we will not do
- Publish sponsored content disguised as editorial
- Let a commission change a rating or a ranking
- Recommend a product we would not consider for our own kids
- Market to children — we write for parents, full stop
